What is Dafoz®?
Dafoz® is a preparation of Dapagliflozin. It belongs to a class of drugs known as sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors, approved for the treatment of type 2 diabetes in adults. It is an inhibitor of the SGLT-2, and causes sugar in the blood to be excreted by the kidneys and eliminated in urine.
What is the indications of Dafoz®?
Dafoz® is indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise for the treatment of type-2 diabetes. It can be given alone or in combination with other oral antidiabetic agents. It is also indicated for reduction in cardiovascular risk in type-2 diabetic patients.

Dafoz® is prohibited if someone has

• Have urinary tract infections
• Are pregnant, or breastfeeding women
What if you forget to take Dafoz® tablet?
If you miss a dose of Dafoz® tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
