What is Dromus®?
Dromus® is a potent synthetic antispasmodic which acts directly on the smooth muscle fibres. It has rapid onset of action. In addition to its spasmolytic and vasodialatory actions, Dromus® elicits a selective blockade of cardiac receptors. It is indicated in spastic conditions of the gastrointestinal tract like irritable bowel syndrome and biliary colics. It is also indicated in renal colics and spastic conditions of the urogenital tract: nephrolithiasis, ureterolithiasis, pyelitis, cystitis. Moreover Dromus® is indicated in dysmenorrhoea, imminent abortion and uterine. Dromus® is of outstanding value in the treatment of coronary insufficiency and angina pectoris owing to its freedom from cardio toxic and hypotensive effects.
How Dromus® works?
Dromus® is an anti-spasmodic medicine which relieves contractions (spasms) associated with smooth muscles in the abdomen.
Common side effects of Dromus®
Nausea, Vomiting, Dryness in mouth, Vertigo, Constipation, Insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), Hypotension (low blood pressure), Fast heart rate, Sweating.
What if you forget to take Dromus® tablet?
If you miss a dose of Dromus® tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
