What is Rosuvix EZ® used for?
Rosuvix EZ® is primarily used to treat high cholesterol levels. Dyslipidaemia (high cholesterol level) is the deposition of unhealthy levels of fats (lipids) in the blood.
How Rosuvix EZ® works?
Rosuvix EZ® is a combination of rosuvastatin and ezetimibe. Rosuvastatin blocks liver enzymes, causing the liver to make less cholesterol. Ezetimibe avoids the absorption of cholesterol from the intestines. Together, they provide a better decrease in cholesterol in your body.
Common side effects of Rosuvix EZ®
Nausea, muscle pain, weakness, joint pain, headache, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, upper respiratory tract infection, and the common cold.
What if you forget to take Rosuvix EZ® tablet?
If you miss a dose of Rosuvix EZ® tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
