What is Metmin® used for?
Metmin® is used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).
How Metmin® works?
Metmin® is an anti-diabetic medication (biguanide). It works by lowering glucose production in the liver, delaying the absorption of sugar (glucose) from the intestines, and increasing the body's sensitivity to insulin.

Diarrhea, Headache, Vomiting, Nausea, Flatulence, Abdominal discomfort.
What if you forget to take Metmin® tablet?
If you miss a dose of Metmin® tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
