What is Nidosin®?
Nidosin® is used to improve urination in men with benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate) and to relieve symptoms during urination like hesitancy, incomplete emptying, weak stream, increased urgency and frequency, and increased urination in the night.
How Nidosin® works?
Nidosin® is an alpha blocker. It works by relaxing muscle around the bladder exit and prostate gland so urine is passed more easily.
Common side effects of Nidosin®
Dizziness, Orthostatic hypotension (sudden lowering of blood pressure on standing), Headache, Ejaculation disorder, Nausea, Infection, Abdominal pain.
What if you forget to take Nidosin® tablet?
If you miss a dose of Nidosin® capsule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
