What is Tadafin® used for?
Tadafin® is used for erectile dysfunction.
How Tadafin® works?
Tadafin® is a phosphodiesterase (PDE-5) inhibitor. In erectile dysfunction, it works by increasing blood flow to the penis by relaxing the muscles in penile blood vessels. In benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), it helps relax the muscles in the prostate gland and the bladder to relieve urinary symptoms.
Common side effects of Tadafin®
Flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk), Headache, Muscle pain, Nasal congestion (stuffy nose), Back pain, Pain in extremities, Dyspepsia.
What if you forget to take Tadafin® tablet?
If you miss a dose of Tadafin® tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
If you stop taking Tadafin®
Do not stop taking this medicine without talking to your doctor. You should not stop taking Tadafin® just because you feel better. This is because the problem may come back or get worse again.
